It is born from Pinot Noir 80% and Chardonnay 20% with maceration on the skins. Ageing for a minimum of 10 years on the lees, dosage ~8 g/l. Laurent-Perrier's Alexandra Grande Cuvée Rosé Brut is born from Pinot Noir 80% and Chardonnay 20% from the best Grand Crus of the Champagne region. Maceration on the Pinot Noir skins at controlled temperature for 48-72 hours.
The Chardonnay must is then added to the macerated Pinot. Fermentation in steel, second fermentation in bottle. Ageing for at least 10 years on the lees. Dosage ~8 g/l. Produced only in exceptional vintages.
