Get to know the wine

Laurent-Perrier's Alexandra Grande Cuvée Rosé Brut is born from Pinot Noir 80% and Chardonnay 20% from the best Grand Crus of the Champagne region. Maceration on the Pinot Noir skins at controlled temperature for 48-72 hours.

The Chardonnay must is then added to the macerated Pinot. Fermentation in steel, second fermentation in bottle. Ageing for at least 10 years on the lees. Dosage ~8 g/l. Produced only in exceptional vintages.

The shape of the bottle — with its feminine silhouette — has become an icon of world wine design. The Alexandra combines the structure and fruit of Pinot Noir with the finesse of Chardonnay in a harmony of rare elegance

"Brilliant salmon pink with a very fine perlage. Small red fruits, citrus and mineral and briny notes. On the palate an explosion of fruit, acidity and savouriness perfectly integrated — a fine and delicate bubble that lengthens into a most elegant finish.
