Insight
Get to know the wine
The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico 2013 from the Giuseppe Quintarelli winery represents one of the supreme expressions of traditional Veneto Amarone.
The Quintarelli winery, considered one of the most prestigious in Italy, is famous for the production of wines of extraordinary quality made with artisanal methods. The Corvina, Rondinella and other native varieties are selected and subjected to the traditional appassimento (drying) process, which concentrates aromas and structure.
The 2013 vintage produced elegant and very balanced wines. The slow vinification and the long ageing in wood allow the wine to develop great complexity and aromatic depth.
The result is an intense, refined Amarone with extraordinary ageing potential.
