Insight
Get to know the wine
The Barolo Brunate 2013 from the Giuseppe Rinaldi winery is born from one of the most prestigious vineyards of the Barolo appellation: the celebrated Brunate cru, located between the municipalities of La Morra and Barolo.
The Rinaldi family has for generations been one of the symbols of traditional Barolo, with a production philosophy based on natural vinifications and long ageing in large oak casks.
The wine is produced exclusively from Nebbiolo, a variety that on this limestone-marl terroir expresses great elegance and complexity.
The 2013 vintage is considered one of the finest of the decade in the Langhe, with wines of extraordinary finesse and longevity.
Fermentation takes place with long macerations on the skins to extract structure and aromas. The long ageing in traditional casks lends balance and depth. The result is a refined, powerful Barolo destined to evolve magnificently over time.
