Insight
Get to know the wine
The Rosso Toscana 2007 by Tenuta di Trinoro is one of the most representative wines of the winery founded by Andrea Franchetti in the Val d'Orcia, an area of Tuscany known for producing wines of great personality.
The wine is made from a blend of international grape varieties grown in vineyards set on soils rich in clay and limestone. The winery's philosophy is based on low yields and an extremely rigorous selection of the grapes.
The 2007 vintage was particularly favourable in Tuscany, giving rise to rich and very balanced wines. Vinification and ageing in barrique help develop aromatic complexity and structure.
The result is an intense, elegant wine with a great capacity to evolve over time.
