The Barolo Bussia Colonnello 2012 is one of the most prestigious labels produced by the Poderi Aldo Conterno winery, a historic Langhe estate renowned for the quality and elegance of its Barolos.
The wine is born from the Colonnello vineyard, one of the most renowned parcels of the Bussia area in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. Here, the soils rich in calcareous marl and clay allow the Nebbiolo to express great structure and aromatic complexity.
The 2012 vintage in the Langhe gave rise to balanced, elegant and highly expressive wines. Vinification follows traditional methods with long macerations and ageing in large oak casks.
This process allows the wine to develop depth and harmony. The result is a refined Barolo, able to evolve magnificently over time.
