Pessac-Léognan and Graves

Bordeaux · Francia

The Graves and Pessac-Léognan region is the historic cradle of Bordeaux wine, with its uniquely gravelly soils.

Pessac-Léognan is the most prestigious part of the Graves, on the very doorstep of Bordeaux. Here the gravelly soils produce both great reds and great whites. Château Haut-Brion, the only Premier Cru Classé outside the Médoc, is the emblem of this region.
