The Winery
Château La Mission Haut-Brion
Grand Cru Classé of Pessac-Léognan, twin and rival of Haut-Brion. Wines of great structure and complexity, among the finest in Bordeaux.

About Us
Our story
Château La Mission Haut-Brion is one of the great wines of Bordeaux, located in Pessac-Léognan, literally across the road from its illustrious twin Château Haut-Brion. Since 1983 both estates have belonged to the Dillon family.
The wine of La Mission is traditionally more powerful and structured than Haut-Brion, with a higher proportion of Merlot that lends richness and depth. The 29 hectares of vineyard are planted on deep gravels that confer minerality and complexity.
In great vintages, La Mission Haut-Brion rivals the Premier Grand Cru Classé estates and is considered by many critics to be among the ten finest wines of Bordeaux.
The Story
A journey through time
