Get to know the wine
The Clos des Lambrays Grand Cru 2015 is born in the celebrated Clos des Lambrays vineyard located in the village of Morey-Saint-Denis, in the heart of the Côte de Nuits in Burgundy.
This historic vineyard, classified Grand Cru, is one of the most prestigious monopoles in the region and is managed by Domaine des Lambrays, one of Burgundy's most important estates.
The wine is produced exclusively from Pinot Noir, a variety that on these limestone soils expresses great finesse and elegance.
The 2015 vintage is considered exceptional in Burgundy thanks to ideal climatic conditions that favoured a perfect ripening of the grapes.
Vinification is meticulous and respectful of the terroir in order to preserve purity and aromatic complexity.
Ageing in French oak barrels helps to develop depth and structure. The result is a refined, harmonious wine with great ageing potential.
