The Centre-Loire is the last stretch of vineyards on the Loire before its sources: Sancerre on the left bank, Pouilly-sur-Loire and Saint-Andelain on the right, with Menetou-Salon, Quincy and Reuilly nearby. Here Sauvignon Blanc gives taut, mineral whites, with gunflint notes where the soil is rich in flint.
