Château Lafite Rothschild
Premier Grand Cru Classé 1855, the most aristocratic of all Bordeaux. Wines of supreme finesse and legendary longevity.

About Us
Our story
Château Lafite Rothschild is the first of the Premier Grand Cru Classé in the 1855 classification and embodies the aristocracy of Bordeaux wine. Located in Pauillac, in the Médoc, it boasts 112 hectares of vineyard on gravelly soils ideal for Cabernet Sauvignon.
Lafite's wines are renowned for their incomparable finesse, the elegance of their tannins and an ageing capacity measured in decades. The circular underground cellar, designed by Ricardo Bofill, is one of the most iconic places in the world of wine.
Owned by the Rothschild family since 1868, Lafite is run today by Saskia de Rothschild, who carries on the family tradition of excellence.
