The story of Valentini
Edoardo Valentini, known as the "lord of Loreto Aprutino", created wines that defy every classification. The estate, located in the hinterland of Pescara, produces tiny quantities of Trebbiano d'Abruzzo and Montepulciano d'Abruzzo that are considered among the greatest Italian white and red wines.
The selection is ruthless: only 10-20% of production is bottled under the Valentini label, the rest being sold in bulk. The wines are made using ancient methods, without the use of selected yeasts, with long fermentations and extended ageing.
Today his son Francesco Paolo Valentini continues his father's work with the same uncompromising spirit, producing wines of extraordinary purity and longevity.
