Meet the winery
The story of Vietti
Vietti is one of the historic wineries of Barolo, founded in Castiglione Falletto in the heart of the Langhe. The estate was among the first to vinify and bottle individual crus separately, helping to define the modern conception of single-vineyard Barolo.
The cru portfolio is extraordinary: Ravera, Brunate, Lazzarito, Rocche di Castiglione and Villero, each vinified to express its specific terroir. The estate also produces excellent Barbera d'Alba and Roero Arneis.
Since 2016 the estate has been owned by the Krause family, who have invested significantly while preserving the production philosophy and quality that have made Vietti a benchmark of the Langhe.
