Rive Droite

Bordeaux · Francia

Bordeaux's Rive Droite is home to Saint-Émilion and Pomerol, where Merlot reaches its fullest expression.

The right bank of the Dordogne comprises the appellations of Saint-Émilion and Pomerol, where Merlot and Cabernet Franc dominate the blends. The terroirs are more varied than in the Médoc: clays, limestone and gravels create wines of great complexity and diversity, from the powerful Pétrus to the elegant Cheval Blanc.
